I am a law enforcement officer and certified firearms instructor offering training and support for those interested in obtaining a UTAH Concealed Handgun Permit, and / or select other available permits, based upon your interests and needs.
My class presentation has been noted in an article by the New York Times (July 6 2010) and several articles written for the US Concealed Carry Association (USCCA) magazine and website including a detailed review of the class and course (August 28 2012).
Students are not required to possess any permit or to have attended any prior firearms training to in order to attend the course.
Utah's permit is the most recognized non-resident permit available and offers the maximum number of states covered at minimal cost.
A UTAH Concealed Handgun Permit is valid in up to 36 states at present.
Also, for those interested in training that will allow application to multiple states for multiple permits, the course can be tailored to offer additional NRA or other training, processes or activities after completion of the required Utah course material to support additional state permit applications such as Florida, Virginia, Arizona, etc... (The Utah course _must_ be completed in it's entirety, first.) Many states accept the Utah training as meeting or exceeding their required minimum standards. Also, the Utah course can be followed by a separate NRA course in some instances. Various combinations of the Utah Permit + other permits and / or your home state permit if available can result in a greater number of states covered.

I offer instruction and "open to the public" courses at my Pittsburgh, PA area studio.
I cover PA, VA, OH, D.C., WV but can offer the course anywhere in the US.
(I cover all or part of the above states and DE, KY, TN, NC, SC, MD; quotes for travel to other locations upon request)
You can host a class at your sportsman's club, business or private residence; same flat per person course fee or negotiated discounted rate will apply.
Email me with your contact info and zip code for a minimum headcount quote for me to travel to your site.
Unless private instruction is required, course cost is generally $90 per person; group or organizational discounts are negotiable.
Discount programs are also in place for select groups; please include your username or member # if from a group such as PAFOA, FOAC, WVCDL, VCDL, SCCC, active duty military / reserves / guard, LEO's or members of the Patriot Guard, as do fund raising programs for sportsman's clubs and conservation groups. On site fingerprinting services are performed by sworn law enforcement personnel via a portable print station.
